Always Be Fuckin' Kind.
More than a hat. A reminder. A movement. A choice.
People always ask where it came from.
Honestly? It's pretty simple.
I just think the world needs more kindness right now. Not the bumper sticker kind. Not the Instagram caption kind. The real kind where you actually slow down, look someone in the eye, and give a damn.
We live in a time where everything feels rushed. Transactional. Divided. Everyone's optimizing something. Tracking something. Moving fast toward something. And somewhere in all of that noise, we started forgetting that every single person you meet is carrying something you probably know nothing about.
Everybody has a story.
Sometimes the smallest thing like a real conversation, actually listening to someone, checking in when you don't have to, helping somebody when they least expect it can completely change the direction of someone's day. Or even their life.
How It Started
The hats started almost as a reminder to myself. A way to wear my values on my head — literally — and keep the people around me in that same mindset.
Then something interesting happened.
Strangers started stopping me. They'd ask about the hat. And suddenly people I'd never met were sharing stories about kindness, loss, struggle, gratitude, friendship real human stuff. The kind of conversations that don't happen on feeds or in comment sections. The kind that happen face to face, when someone lowers their guard for a second.
And I realized: maybe this could become something bigger than a hat.
Why It Matters Now
We live in a world that runs on data. Algorithms decide what we see. Analytics tell us what to say. A/B tests tell us how to feel. Every interaction is optimized, monetized, tracked.
And we're losing something in all of it.
We're losing the random conversation with a stranger that changes your week. The eye contact. The moment of connection that doesn't fit in a funnel. The things you can't measure but can feel.
This isn't anti-progress. It's pro-people.
We the people still move the world. Not the dashboards. Not the data. The humans behind all of it, the ones who show up, connect, create, and keep going.
Always Be Fuckin' Kind is a reminder to lead with that. To be the reason someone's day gets a little better. To move through the world with intention, not just efficiency.
The Mission
Spread kindness. Share stories. Create connection. Remind people there's still good out there.
A portion of what we make goes back into acts of kindness helping people, supporting community efforts, and continuing to spread this message in the real world.
Because kindness is contagious. It really is. And sometimes all people need is a reminder.
